Pretzel Cookies

Pretzel Cookies 


1 cup room T°C unsalted butter 

1 cup packed brown sugar 

1/4 cup white sugar 

2 large eggs 

1 tsp vanilla extract 

2 1/2 cups flour 

1 tbsp cornstarch 

1 tsp baking soda 

1 tsp baking powder 

1/2 tsp salt 

1 1/2 cups dark chocolate chips 

1 1/2 cups chopped pretzels 

15 Le Caramel sea salt caramels (or any other flavored Le Caramel candies) 1 tbsp coarse sea salt


  1. Pre-heat oven on 400°F 
  2. Mix the butter until smooth in a stand up mixer (with the paddle attachment) 3. Cream the butter with sugars 
  3. Add the eggs and vanilla 
  4. Add powders (flour, cornstarch, baking soda, baking powder and salt) and mix on low until just combined 
  5. Fold in chocolate chips and pretzels 
  6. Cut Le Caramel sea salt caramels in half 
  7. Make balls of dough and place them on a lined baking tray 
  8. flat them up with the palm of your hand and place caramels in it 10. Roll the dough balls again 
  9. Bake for 9 to 12 min or until golden on top and bottom 
  10. Let it cool down for 5 min on the baking tray before putting them on a cooling rack
