Devil's Food Cake
Ingredients:
2 cups all purpose flour
1.5 cups caster sugar
3/4 cup cacao powder unsweetened
2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
1 cup neutral vegetable oil
1 cup buttermilk
1 cup hot coffee
2 tsp vanilla extract
2 large eggs
2 jars Le Caramel chocolate cream
Directions:
- Pre-heat oven on 320°F and line two 9" pans
- Mix all dry ingredients together (sift flour and cacao powder)
- Add buttermilk, oil, hot coffee and mix with a hand mixer or stand mixer until combined
- Add vanilla and one egg, add the 2nd egg when combined
- Mix on full speed for 30 sec and then on medium for another 2 min
- Bake for around 30 min, you want it moist so make sure you keep an eye on it from 25 min
- Go full chocolate and frost the cake with Le Caramel chocolate cream. 8. Enjoy and let us know how it was !
